Overview
How we can help
A company is a separate legal entity with its own tax obligations. Each year it needs financial statements, a company tax return and careful attention to how money moves between the company and its owners.
We prepare the accounts and return, review director loan accounts and dividends, and explain the company's position so you can plan distributions and tax payments with confidence.

FAQs
Common questions
General information only. Your circumstances may differ — contact us for advice specific to you.
Can I take money out of my company whenever I like?
Drawings by directors and shareholders need to be treated correctly — as wages, dividends or a properly documented loan. Unplanned drawings can trigger Division 7A consequences.
Does my company need audited accounts?
Most small proprietary companies don't need audited accounts, but they do need accurate financial statements to support the tax return.
When is the company tax return due?
Due dates depend on the company's size and lodgement history. We'll confirm the due date that applies to your company.
